Sensitive and efficient braking performance is an important guarantee for riding safety, and braking distance is an intuitive embodiment of electric bicycle braking performance.

This braking performance test is mainly conducted according to Clause 6.1.2 of GB17761—2018. The test site is asphalt pavement, and the tester adds a counterweight to 75kg, and the tire pressure is 250kPa.

The test results show that:

The braking distance of two sample cars of Luyuan and No.9 is 3.3 meters, which tied for the first place;

Followed by the bell, 3.4 meters;

Emma, Mavericks and Nippon Sample Cars rank at the bottom, with 4.2m, 4.4m and 4.5m respectively.

Riding comfort is mainly considered from several aspects, such as the comfort of speed bump, acceleration smoothness, steering control accuracy (especially low speed control) and the continuity of power output at the highest speed.

The six models purchased this time, such as Luyuan, Emma, Yadea, Lima, Tailing and Xinri, are simple models, with relatively cheap prices and simple functions, only with the function of starting the P-file.

Two vehicles, such as No.9 and Mavericks, are non-simple models with relatively high prices and rich functional configurations.

In the experiment, 8 testers each experienced 8 sample cars continuously to get a sense of riding experience. The test roads are flat asphalt pavement, pavement with many obstacles such as yellow mud and stones, and auxiliary roads with potholes.
